“Mother says I was a dancer before I could walk, she says I began to sing long before I could talk”- ABBA

At age five, I sat down with my grandmother to watch my first musical, My Fair Lady, one of my grandma’s favorites. The musical left me astonished; I didn’t know that music, acting, singing, and dancing could accompany each other so well. At the end of the movie my grandmother turned to me and asked, “Would you ever want to do anything like that?” At the time, I loved to sing and dance to music around my living room so much that my parents put me in multiple dance classes by the age of three. To no one’s surprise, I replied that I would love to perform in musicals.
